Its four-loop style frame protects the propellers during flight besides acting as an anti-collision safety mechanism.

This quadcopter also boasts of a headless mode navigation that eliminates the need to adjust your drone’s position before a flight and improves the learning curve.

One particularly magnificent aspect about this drone is its altitude hold function that allows you to release the throttle stick thus allowing the drone to hover at a constant height.

hey there! I’m really interested in drones and I found your article very informative and fun to read. I’m planning to buy a drone soon. But my problem is that I’m on a budget. I think it is the best drone for me. Thank you for sharing this information.

    Hi Grace!

My wife really loves this little cheap drones! We got a Phantom4, but also a Syma X5C and the X8C as well for her to have fun and have a laugh 😉

I’m a fan of Syma, they’re very resistant and well-built, and also very stable in the wind.

Too bad the battery run out so fast, just when you’re having a blast with the little guy 😉

Thanks for the review! The others you mentioned look cool as well. The market is full of these machines now!

Hi Israel, thanks for stopping by.  Yeah these smaller drones are all like that with the battery, that’s why it’s advised to buy extra batteries so you can switch them out quickly and continue your play time.

I like the Syma drones as well and they are built with high quality for sure.

      Glad you liked my list!

I wanted a drone and had a budget of just $100, although the main important factor that I look for in drones is their battery life. Which one of them has the best battery life and at the same time is light is weight so that I could easily travel around with them.

    • Grace June 11, 2017 at 6:11 pm #

Hi Shrey, in general, the drones at this price range generally don’t have a good battery life, and that is why it’s recommended to buy extra batteries so you can have several fully charged batteries to switch out to continue your flying fun time without waiting to charge the one battery you have.

Of the 5 drones above, I think the Syma X5C has the best battery life as it charges fast and last a little longer than the other ones but probably not by a huge margin.  Getting extra batteries will be your best bet!

      Have fun choosing,

Drones have certainly “taken off” in a big way. Excuse the pun! LOL.

There are so many awesome models available, but a lot of them can be expensive.

So it’s great to learn about Drones, especially ones with cameras, that can be bought for less than 100 dollars. 🙂

I think my personal favorite here has to be the HOLY STONE F181. Although there are a number of disadvantages with this model, it looks cool.
